We have spent a lot of time over this menu trying to give you a choice of both traditional British meals and something a little different. We take pride in using produce from our local area and will happily recommend any to you for products you enjoy. The Fox and Goose Cocktail

Succulent prawns, dressed with a Marie Rose sauce, on shredded Iceberg lettuce, crisp apple and tomatoes, then topped with ribbons of smoked salmon and finished with a wholemeal loaf £5.95

Lamb Kofte kebab’s
Spiced lamb skewers lightly grilled and served with a cucumber raita £5.95

Breaded Mozzarella
Traditional creamy mozzarella lightly coated in a crispy breadcrumb and deep fried. Then served on a bed of salad with a tangy tomato chutney £4.95

Thai Fishcakes
A selection of Thai game fish, a hint of spice then lightly shallow fried and served with a sweet chilli mayo £5.95



Homemade garlic baguette
A freshly baked garlic baguette sliced on the angle and filled with our fresh creamy garlic butter £3.50, With Cheese £3.95



At the Fox and Goose we take pride in our Beef. All our steaks are hand cut and char-grilled the way you request them, served with pan fried mushrooms, homemade onion rings and a grilled tomato, then finished with a pile of steak chips.

Stilton and broccoli Risotto
Italian Arborio rice slowly simmered with tender broccoli and lumps of stilton cheese and served with a swirl of double cream £9.95

Chicken and pesto pasta
Chunks of roasted chicken, pan fried mushrooms and homemade pesto in a creamy sauce served over a bed of spaghetti and topped with shaved parmesan cheese £10.95

Stuffed pepper
Roasted stuffed pepper filled with ratatouille and cream cheese served on a bed of special fried rice. £9.95

Pan fried Steak Stroganoff
Select cuts of British steak pan fried, flambéed with brandy then finished with cream and paprika, served with rice and a salad garnish £13.95
